Rooted in Nokesville · Grown with Purpose
Whether you're here for our nutrient-packed microgreens, the crisp harvest from our Asian pear orchard, or our specialty figs and cold-hardy pomegranates — we're honored you've found us. One family farm in Nokesville, VA, growing food, connection, and a legacy of service.
Farm to Table
Grown in small batches across 110 greenhouse trays using Pro-Mix BX and Coco Noir — our microgreens are cut to order weekly, packed with flavor, and up to 40× more nutrient-dense than mature greens. Sun-grown the way nature intended.
Signature Blend
Scottie's Salad Mix isn't just a beautiful blend — it's five of the most nutritionally powerful microgreens combined into a single, balanced handful. Here's what every serving delivers to your body.
The Flavor Experience
"Sweet, peppery, crunchy, earthy, and alive — all in one handful."
When you eat Scottie's Salad Mix, the Speckled Pea gives you a sweet, substantial base. The Arugula brings that familiar peppery heat. The Radish adds a clean, satisfying crunch. Red Cabbage contributes a mild earthiness with a gorgeous purple finish. And the Beet stems — magenta and vibrant — deliver a subtle earthy sweetness that ties everything together.
It's a complete flavor experience. And unlike processed foods engineered to taste good, every note in this blend comes straight from the plant — grown in our Nokesville greenhouse under natural sunlight.
Seasonal Harvest
Our on-farm Asian Pear Orchard produces crisp, juicy, fragrant pears each season — a world apart from anything you'll find at a grocery store. Harvested at peak ripeness right here at 10445 Burwell Rd, Nokesville.
Asian Pears are prized for their apple-like crunch, refreshing sweetness, and exceptional shelf life. They pair beautifully with our microgreens, make stunning centerpieces for charcuterie boards, and are a staple of Asian cuisine.
Two Premium Varieties
Grown right here in Nokesville, our fig orchard produces two of the most celebrated cold-hardy varieties available. Each is unique in flavor, texture, and the experiences they create at the table — and both are a world apart from anything you'll find in a grocery store.
Chicago Hardy is one of the most revered cold-climate figs in the world — a Mt. Etna type with a flavor profile that is rich, complex, and deeply satisfying. When fully ripe, the flesh turns jammy and the flavor opens up into layers of honey, wild berry, caramel, and a subtle earthy depth that makes it as compelling in savory dishes as it is in desserts. Small in size but enormous in flavor — this is a fig you don't forget.
The Olympian — discovered by a retired biologist in Olympia, Washington and recognized with a Retailers' Choice Award — is a showstopper. Large, visually stunning, and remarkably sweet, this fig delivers a honey-forward flavor with peachy and melon undertones that makes it ideal for fresh eating straight from the tree. It produces two crops per season and is prized for its exceptional size — some fruit reaching nearly 70 grams. At Winfield Meadow Farms, it ripens beautifully in Northern Virginia's summer heat.
Rare in Northern Virginia
Growing pomegranates in Northern Virginia isn't something most farms attempt — and that's exactly why we do. Our cold-hardy varieties are selected specifically to thrive in zone 7 conditions, producing jewel-toned, antioxidant-rich fruit that is virtually impossible to find locally at this quality.
Tart, sweet, jewel-bright arils that transform everything they touch. Here's how to make the most of a Winfield Meadow pomegranate.
Outdoor Transformation
We specialize in the foundational care that keeps Northern Virginia lawns healthy, thick, and beautiful — professional fertilization, overseeding, and mulching done right and on schedule.
After Dark
The right lighting turns a beautiful yard into a breathtaking one — day and night. We design and install professional-grade low-voltage systems that highlight your landscape's best features, increase security, and extend your outdoor living hours.
We work primarily with Volt — a professional-grade low-voltage lighting brand trusted by landscape pros across the country. Known for exceptional durability, warm color rendering, and a wide fixture range that fits every architectural style.
I saw my father work incredibly hard to ensure we made it — and today, I'm applying that same work ethic to serve our community.
